Al-Azhar Scholars and Arab Nations to Attend the 4th ICORCS 2025 in Mojokerto

Mojokerto, 7 January, 2025 – KH. Abdul Chalim University (UAC) in Mojokerto, East Java, is set to host the 4th International Conference on Research and Community Service (ICORCS) at the UAC Campus on 29 – 30 January 2025.

The Chairperson of ICORCS 4th 2025, Dr. Ammar Zainuddin, M.Pd.I., stated that this prestigious event will feature a diverse range of speakers from various disciplines and friendly nations, including Egypt, Iraq, and Malaysia.

Prominent scholars from Al-Azhar University in Egypt, such as Syekh Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abdusshomad Mehanna, Syekh Abdul Aziz Asy-Syahawi, and Syekh Yusri, are confirmed as keynote speakers at the conference.

Dr. KH. Mauhibur Rokhman, Lc., MIRKH., the Rector of KH. Abdul Chalim University revealed that this year’s ICORCS theme is “The Contribution of Authority and Knowledge in the construction of Ideal Civilization for the Stability of Global Societies“. This theme supports the Golden Indonesia 2045 Vision by fostering synergy between knowledge and power.

“This conference reflects the academic community’s commitment to supporting the government’s strategic programs, particularly in accelerating human development through the mastery of knowledge and technology”, said Gus Mauhib, the Rector of UAC.

The 4th ICORCS will be inaugurated by Indonesia’s Minister of Primary and Secondary Education (Mendikdasmen), Abdul Mu’ti, alongside other national figures, including Mojokerto Regent Muhammad Al Barra.

Outstanding papers presented at the conference will be published in two prestigious journals: the Scopus-indexed journal of KH. Abdul Chalim University, Nazhruna – a journal of Islamic Education, and Munaddhomah – a journal of Islamic Education Management.

In addition to delivering lectures at the conference, international speakers will also attend by special invitation from Prof. Dr. KH. Asep Saifuddin Chalim, M.A., the caretaker of Amanatul Ummah Islamic Boarding School and Chairman of PP Pergunu. Kyai Asep is renowned for his strong network of intellectuals and scholars from various countries in the Middle East.
